The WHSD has been recognized as the best transport infrastructure facility in St. Petersburg for two decades
The award was awarded as part of the 20th anniversary competition “Builder of the Year”.
In 2023, one of the most prestigious professional competitions in St. Petersburg, the “Builder of the Year” competition, turned 20 years old. In connection with the anniversary, the competent jury and citizens were asked to choose the best objects that have appeared in St. Petersburg over the past two decades.
Voting was carried out in such nominations as “Best project for integrated development of territories”, “Best cultural and leisure facility”, “Expectation 3.0” and many others.
In the category “Best urban transport infrastructure 2.0” the victory was awarded to the Western High-Speed Diameter project.
Receiving the award, Deputy General Director of Northern Capital Highway LLC Semyon Zakharievich Suponitsky told the guests of the ceremony about the main milestones of the creation of a unique project, and also noted its significance for St. Petersburg, the best confirmation of which are hundreds of thousands of motorists who daily choose the highway for fast and safe trips.
