The Contractor of WHSD Central section construction intensifies the noise protection activity at construction site on Vasilievsky Island – South

At the construction site of WHSD Central section on Vasilievsky Island – South acoustic shields have been installed as an additional measures to protect neighboring residential area from influence of noisy construction works.

Crashworthy acoustic shields that are panels made from sliver-concrete boards fixed by metal profiles of hot dip galvanised steel. The acoustic screens of complete length of about 20 meters have been installed on the site in places where the noisiest works are being implemented: near drilling plants, generators. Panels height is 5.5 meters, their length – 3 meters. Transportable construction of the acoustic shields gives a possibility of on-the-spot assembling them in any place of the site. The quantity of the screens will increase. 
At the moment works on sheet pile driving for temporary technological platforms construction in the water, filling of embankments and bored piles construction on sand islands are being undertaken at the Central section site of Vasilievsky island, temporary flyovers construction is being continued. Onshore drilling of piles and pile caps construction is being undertaken. 
On Vasilievsky Island – North piles construction works are being undertaken, pile caps and piers construction for exit ramps from Makarova embankment is ongoing. Besides sheet pile driving and filling of embankments for temporary technological platforms is being undertaken on the site. The main pile caps construction works are ongoing onshore. 
On Kanonersky island works on exit ramps from the bridge across river Ekateringofka are ongoing: piles driving, pile caps, piers cap and body construction is being undertaken. Preparatory works for construction of reinforced concrete structure of exit ramps have begun. Transfer of utilities is also being undertaken on the site.
On Krestovsky island construction of temporary flyovers, sheet pile driving and filling of embankments for temporary technological platforms construction, drilling of piles, piles cap and body construction is ongoing. 
On the site at Savushkina street works on piers and bored piles construction, filling of embankment for the sand islands and sheet pile driving for temporary technological platforms are ongoing.
