The constructors of the WHSD Central section have completed installation of the span structures of the cable-stayed bridges over Petrovsky and Korabelny Fairways.
The erection of closing spans over Petrovsky Fairway was being carried out on the night of August 6 to 7. The deck segments were delivered by barges. The closing span over Korabelny Fairway was erected on the night of August 8 to 9.
Maxim Sokolov, the Minister of Transport inspected the construction of the WHSD and took part in a final erection stage. Later in the day the closing span over Petrovsky Fairway was erected.
Steel spans of a double deck bridge were also erected over the Sea Channel.
