The 5th anniversary "WHSD Festival" will bring together a record number of participants on June 3!

At the beginning of summer, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, the WHSD will host the 5th annual international WHSD Fontanka Fest. The event was first held on June 2, 2018. More than 5,000 sports and active lifestyle enthusiasts came together to launch a new, unique event in the life of St. Petersburg - the WHSD Festival. More than a thousand athletes and four thousand cyclists rode and ran along one of the most beautiful sections of the highway - the Central section of the WHSD. It should be noted that the very first festival was recognized as the event of the year according to experts and the audience of the Recognition and Influence award. In 2022, 2,000 athletes and 10,000 cyclists took part in the event, which was a record figure for the entire duration of the Festival. The anniversary "Fest" will be held in a new format: the participants of the event will have three thematic bike races. For more information about the program of the event, please follow the link. The change in the format of the event and three starts for participants will allow up to 15 thousand cyclists to be accepted, which will make the WHSD Festival one of the largest sports events in the city! The WHSD Festival is included by the Administration of St. Petersburg in the list of the most significant sports events and in the list of events dedicated to the anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg - City Day. The WHSD Festival was awarded the Formula of Movement award by the Public Council of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, and was also recognized as one of the best tourist events in Russia.
