Dear users,
Tag is the easiest way to pay the motorway tolls. It helps drivers save both time and money by letting them drive through the toll plazas without stopping and giving them a discount.
The recent implementation of Flow+ innovative tolling system for tag users of WHSD means that a tag signal can be only successfully transferred to the aerials if the device is properly fixed inside the vehicle.
By the time you reach the toll plaza a toll transaction will have been processed. You are free to go as soon as the entry barriers are lifted. If fitted properly, a tag works correctly. It helps the system to carry out accurate route calculations so the amount of money you pay could coincide with the distance you have covered on the highway.
We have compiled a list of the top mistakes drivers make when use their tags. In light of this, we have decided to help you avoid many problems you may face while using a tag and provide you with the information you need.
What you shouldn’t do while using a tag:
- Do not wave your tag by holding it up in your hand outside of the vehicle when approaching the barrier
- Keep your tag fitted to the windscreen of your vehicle, otherwise it won’t be able to properly transmit the signal
- Do not keep a tag in the glove box
We also remind you that the toll collection operation of WHSD Central Section will start at 00:00 on February 4, 2017. Toll will be collected from the drivers moving towards the Central Section, at the toll barriers located at Blagodatnaya Street on-ramp and from the drivers moving backwards.
