Construction works of the Central section of Western High Speed Diameter in Saint-Petersburg are being undertaken on the territory of the entire section of the highway. The Sites are arranged on Kanonersky Island, at the South and North of Vasilievsky Island, on Krestovsky Island, at Savushkina Street. Moreover construction of interchanges is being undertaken at the area of the Ekateringofka.
It should be highlighted that 24 September 2013 the results of six-months period construction works were shown to representatives of Saint-Petersburg government, mass media, project investors and lenders as well as companies participating on the project.
As a result of the meeting the Vice-governor Marat Oganesyan answered the journalist’ questions, in particular he noted that the construction works are in some sections ahead of the schedule.
