Construction of the Diaphragm wall is being undertaken On Vasilievsky Island
Diaphragm wall being constructed with the usage of “wall in the ground” approach assigned to protect road from flooding with subterranean and Gulf of Finland water. Our construction is to protect the section of WHSD that will pass along the western edge of Vasilievsky Island in the cutting. The main characteristics of the diaphragm wall at Vasilievsky Island are:
Total length – 3500 meters (1750 m on the either side of the road)
Depth – 27 meters
