8 September Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, blockade survivors and persons accompanying them can travel along the WHSD free of charge

On the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Siege, 8 September, every year, vehicles driven by veterans and transporting veterans are given the opportunity to travel free of charge along the Western High-Speed Diameter. The right of free passage can be used by: 1) disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War; 2) veterans of the Great Patriotic War from among: 3) former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced confinement established by the Nazis and their allies during the Second World War. Free of charge fare rules: - You must travel using the lanes where cash/bank card payment is made (lanes with yellow signs); - It is necessary to present a confirmation document of the established sample to the cashier-operator of the WHSD toll booth; It is highly desirable to ensure that there is no transponder in the car. If there is a transponder and it works, it is necessary to show the cashier the documents giving the right to free travel. The journeys will be adjusted within 5 working days.
