Yesterday, new rules for getting transponders to travel on the Western High-Speed Diameter came into force. If before contactless payment devices were given to drivers free of charge - on condition of depositing a certain amount to the account, now you can either buy or rent one.
- The cost of buying a transponder is 1000 rubles, - informs the official site of the operator company of WHSD. - Rental of the device costs 50 rubles per month.
Rental agreement may be executed only at the central sales office at Planernaya street, but to buy - including the points of payment directly on the WHSD. Please note that it is not possible to use the transponder right after the purchase: the device is sold with a zero balance, which means you need to activate and top up your account. This can be done in cash or with a bank card, but not immediately.
